Returns of the annual census have been slow. This information is vitally important to the town and residents are asked to please send the completed form back to the Town Clerk as soon as possible. Included in this year's mailing was a questionnaire from the Agricultural Commission. A stamped return addressed envelope was also included for convenience in mailing the forms back. If there is not enough response to the first mailing, a second will have to take place. It is an expensive project for the Town Clerk in both cost and time. Please see that you have complied with the request to mail this information back to the Clerk. Your cooperation will be appreciated.

Dog licensing for 2006 is well underway and all dog owners are urged to apply for their pet's annual license before the final rush in April. Proof of a valid rabies vaccination is required for a license to be issued. Licenses can be requested by mail. A late fee will be charged dog owners for each dog unlicensed for each week past April 30th. The Town Clerk's office is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 5PM, Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9PM and on Saturday mornings from 10AM to Noon. For additional information you can call the Town Clerk at 743-3759 during the above mentioned hours. from the Town Clerk
